During my IOT course, we had to make the prototype of an interactive object working with Arduino. We had to code and create the object ourselves in a group of two people.
The project
Both members of the couple have an interactive egg, one is a pillbox for the couple member under contraception, the other is empty. Both member of the couple needs to interact with them egg, in order to share a signal and communicate.

Explanations
How it works
When it's time to take the pill, both must touch the egg to pass a sound and light signal. The pill is distributed even if the interaction does not take place, but the two eggs remain active as long as the signal is not transmitted. The pillbox dispense the pill automaticly at the same time everyday.
Why it's important
Contraceptive pill is the most popular contraception with young girl. It can be a real stress for them, because they have to assume it alone, in addition to the side effects. Pregnancy, however, includes two people with equal responsibilities. The other couple member also suffers the consequences of this one-way contraception. He has to trust the other, and it can be really stressful, particulary for young people.
Creation process
Video presentation
I made and printed the eggs in 3D. I myself imagined the system for opening and closing the lid, while Geoffroy programmed the motor on arduino. Once the egg was assembled, I imagined, produced and edited the presentation video.
